The food and water Jesus is offering us makes us feel bigger on the inside. Jesus is inviting us to let His world, His living world, invade ours.
Worship is our response to who God is. You become like what you worship. Take a moment, listen, absorb what you hear.
The closer we are, the more God will direct our lives. Let God show you what it means to be closer to Him. God wants our nearness.
God delights in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control; the fruit of the spirit. God wants us to join into the fruit of the sprite, the delight of God, because it allows us to see what really matters.
Isn't it tempting to believe we are right even before the conversation begins? Patience gives gifts. What if instead of a quick response to someone, telling them why they are wrong, we ask a question of trying to understand? That takes patience.
If you don't have anything good to say, don't say it all. It's quite simple.
There has always been conflict. In every relationship or community. Even in the first family there was murder. But one small loving word or gesture can bring reconciliation, hope, and peace.
Even though we have the watermark of the cross on our page, we still write things that don't belong and grieve God. We do things to ruin our watermark, but the Lord gives us a clean sheet everyday, a fresh day, marked by Christ, not by what we have done or have not done, but from what He has done and how He has marked us.
Participate in the Jesus agenda; the mending, repairing, redeeming of the world. Don't focus on the things that bring division.
The heart of Christ fuels us. It is the love of Christ that shows us how to love others. To love our neighbors. Our enemies. To be stewards.
