It doesn't matter how many times you forgive someone. If you don't forgive them in your heart, it would be pointless. Jesus gave us His forgiveness and Jesus invites us to give it to others.

It's hard to understand why Jesus loves us so, and would give His own life for us, a bunch of sinners. His own disciples even rebuked Him. But He loves us.

Do Not Be Afraid

Believe and trust that Christ is walking to us on the water. God's purposes will not be frustrated. We do not need to let our fear turn into hatred. We can risk seeing the fear behind someones hateful actions.

Living on a Hill

posted Jun 4, 2017, 12:10 PM by St. Thomas Church

Going to right way is most times going uphill, so we choose to go the wrong way which can feel like going downhill, easy. But with the Holy Spirit, it makes going uphill much easier. The energy from coasting downhill makes it easier to use words that hurt others. It takes true power, given by the Holy Spirit, to live a life of love.
