This is the place where we come together and give thanks. This is where we remember God's grace. This is where we are united. This is God's table.

The New Adventures of Jesus Christ

What are we adding to the story of Jesus Christ? Are they stories that people would want to hear more of? Are they adventures with Jesus that people would want to participate in?

Give Thanks to God

"Waking up in the morning is a miracle in its self and you should give thanks to God. Having the freedom to worship God in this church is a big thing that many people are prosecuted for, and we should give thanks to God for that." - Julius Njogu

When we interrupt our normal schedule, to come be a part of a community, to take part in communion, Christ is interrupting our plans and pointing us toward His foundational truths.

Have You Still No Faith?

posted Jun 24, 2018, 11:39 AM by St. Thomas Church

Jesus calls us out of our old life and into a new life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Our family in our community of faith help us as we grow. And sometimes we find ourselves in a boat with water coming in. That is when our faith family will be there to bring peace.

Who is the Father?

Who is the Father? How do you be a good father? Trust means future. If you don't have trust in somebody, you have no future between the both of you.

God's Family

posted Jun 24, 2018, 8:41 AM by St. Thomas Church

Jesus calls us part of the Family first and then calls us to do the will of God. Being part of the family is not contingent on us doing something first, rather it is contingent on what God has already done, to love and sacrifice and welcome us in. We are welcome into the family just as we are, with all our hurt and brokenness. To be more like Jesus, but as a broken and messed up member of His Family, that, is doing the will of God.

Imperfect Containers for Treasure

posted Jun 3, 2018, 12:57 PM by St. Thomas Church

We have a treasure in us. That treasure is the good news of the love of God. We are imperfect when it comes to telling others the treasure we are given. We are also imperfect in living our lives like we have the treasure. We are imperfect containers for the treasure. But that's alright because it's not about us. It's about trusting God.
