St. Thomas Church Welcomes Our Next Rector, Fr. Andrew Cruz Lillegard!
Father Andy, who currently serves as rector at Church of St. Luke the Beloved Physician, Saranac Lake, New York, will celebrate his first Eucharist at St. Thomas on Sunday, November 24. He grew up in Wausau and lived and worked in Eau Claire before he attended Nashotah House Seminary. After graduating and being ordained in 2018, Fr. Andy served churches in Wyoming and New York, before accepting the position at St. Thomas. He and his wife, Theresa, have two sons, Chris and Wyatt. Father Andy’s call to St. Thomas follows a comprehensive search that began in early 2022, following the retirement of Fr. Ralph Osborne. Father Chris Arnold has served as interim rector since Osborne’s retirement. St. Thomas, Menasha was legally incorporated in 1915, although there had been an Episcopal Presence in the Neenah-Menasha area since 1859. Fr. Andy is the 13th priest to serve St. Thomas.
Please join us for a delicious dinner and fellowship!
We will be serving homemade red sauce over spaghetti, salad, and homemade parmesan bread. All prepared by our spaghetti dinner team.
We would also love to have volunteers to toss the salad, set up, serve, and clean up. Together we make it better:) Please call the office to sign up for this event or to be on the team. Hope to see you on October 9!
You are invited to join us in person or
